A New Diterpenoid from the Seeds of Caesalpinia sappan Linn

Abstract: A new cassane-type d iterpene, named Phangininoxy A (1) and one known Phanginin A (2) were isolated from the exact of seeds of Caesalpinia sappan Linn. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, mainly 1D and 2D NMR.
