The configurations of 1, and 2 were determined by their analogues, aspilactonol B, C isolated previous in Aspergillus. Mellein (8) showed broad antibiotic activity against the test pathogens. Aspinonene, aspinotriols A and B can be used as the marker molecule in chemotaxonomy of Aspergillus. Keywords: Aspergillus melleus; aspinotriol derivatives ; diastereoisomer; spectroscopic analyses; antibiotic. © 2018 ACG Publications. All rights reserved. |
