Organic Communications

A scientific open access journal in the field of synthetic organic chemistry and polymers

Aims and Scope

Organic communications is a journal of synthetic organic chemistry, polymer synthesis and properties, and theoretical studies in Organic Chemistry.

The journal publishes scientific and technical contributions in the form of review articles, original articles, short communications, discussion and position papers, book reviews, as well as other information on all aspects relevant to synthetic and semisynthetic organic chemistry, new applications in other areas, such as pharmaceutical studies. In determining the suitability of submitted articles for publication, particular attention is given to the extent of novelty and significance added to the existing knowledge in organic chemistry. On the other hand, manuscripts describing routine synthesis of limited amounts of analogs without any biological assessment or application are generally not published unless new developments are described, providing clear and quantifiable advantages over existing methods.

The journal also aims at providing an information forum for the exchange of views and cooperation between all national and international bodies operating in the fields of synthetic organic chemistry. The journal focuses on the following topics:

Synthetic organic chemistry,

Semi-synthesis of natural compounds,

Computational Chemistry,

New strategies and properties of new synthetic polymers.

All published research articles in Organic Communications undergo rigorous peer review (please click to see peer review process scheme),based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by expert referees.
